Su lema es <em>Todo tipo de mec\u00e1nica<\/em>. El jefe del taller, Germ\u00e1n Frac, le encarg\u00f3 el logotipo a Tritio Publicidad y le pidi\u00f3 un s\u00edmbolo que lo identificar\u00e1 con la mec\u00e1nica, la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica y los coches deportivos.<\/p>\n<p>Como no hab\u00eda ninguna necesidad de modificar el nombre, trat\u00e9 de asociar la tipograf\u00eda con el dibujo de una manera fluida. De esta manera, la A de GERMAN me record\u00f3 al cilindro triangular de los motores rotativos que dise\u00f1\u00f3\u00a0Felix\u00a0Wankel en el per\u00edodo de entreguerras.<\/p>\n<p>La historia de la creaci\u00f3n del motor rotativo es como una leyenda por su singularidad. Resulta que un joven ingeniero de 22 a\u00f1os concibi\u00f3 un nuevo motor que romp\u00eda radicalmente con el actual modelo convencional que llevaba ya d\u00e9cadas moviendo los escasos coches que circulaban por el mundo. Me imagino a sus profesores cuando aquel avispado veintea\u00f1ero les contaba emocionado que estaba dise\u00f1ando un nuevo tipo de motor de combusti\u00f3n. Seguro que alguno, antes de escuchar toda la idea, le dio un pescoz\u00f3n por ser tan osado.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, el motor rotativo no era ning\u00fan hechizo producto de las brujas, era una maravilla del dise\u00f1o industrial que alcanzaba 9000 revoluciones, con alto caballaje y un consumo relativamente bajo.<\/p>\n<p>Su principal diferencia es que no esta formado por cilindros sino por un prisma triangular que da vueltas exc\u00e9ntricas en el interior de una elipse. (Les recomiendo buscar v\u00eddeos para entender su funcionamiento)<\/p>\n<p>Con la elecci\u00f3n de una secci\u00f3n del motor rotativo se ha conseguido transmitir en primer lugar: la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica por su ya citada asombrosa concepci\u00f3n. En segundo lugar: la mec\u00e1nica, que se transmite en el logotipo por los colores escogidos, que lo relacionan con las piezas mec\u00e1nicas, y por el dise\u00f1o geom\u00e9trico.
