British Airways era la compa\u00f1\u00eda de aerol\u00edneas anglosajona por excelencia, sus aviones ten\u00edan car\u00e1cter con su flamante tipograf\u00eda y, aunque aquel avi\u00f3n que John McLane no pudo salvar llegaba tarde, sol\u00edan tener fama de puntuales.<\/p>\n<p>Espa\u00f1a, por el contrario es un pa\u00eds impuntual, repleto de gente que todav\u00eda se escuda cada d\u00eda, en el estudio realizado por alguna instituci\u00f3n que afirmaba que 11 minutos son el margen que tienen las personas para llegar tarde a las citas. Y el aeropuerto de Barajas era el gran representante del horario relativo espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora Iberia y British Airways se han fusionado. Con la uni\u00f3n, ha surgido un nuevo nombre empresarial, Internacional Airlines, que en mi opini\u00f3n, es un nombre abstracto que apenas transmite im\u00e1genes gr\u00e1ficas al receptor. Seg\u00fan los preceptos del naming, es imperativo que el denominador empresarial se plasme en la mente del consumidora trav\u00e9s de las cualidades intr\u00ednsecas, la marca(nombre) debe comunicar muchas m\u00e1s cosas que una simple palabra.<\/p>\n<p>Es un mal menor porque ambas corporaciones mantendr\u00e1n su identidad, su publicidad y sus logotipos, pero con esta fusi\u00f3n, que es una v\u00e1lvula de escape a la crisis y que se fundamenta en estrategias econ\u00f3micas l\u00f3gicas.
